I was struggling with the idea “what my first blog post” should be about or look like, and after some thinking i came to the conclusion that it had to be dedicated to my Etsy shop. I mean, that is where all began (well, more of that in my About WearitCrochet page) and i can not ignore it as a fact, because the places you come from always influence your current and future passions!
And this passion about yarn, textile and fibre inspirational stories, would not have developed as such, if i had not been experimenting on the crochet jewellery making process.
So, my work concerns mainly crochet jewellery creations (just necklaces for the time being), which may not sound as something much at first, but my intention of being original and not repeating myself, adds an aesthetic value in every each one of them.
I try to experiment a lot with different materials and forms ( i blame my architectural background on that!), and you are going to have sneak peeks as we go along. You will be surprised on how many and diverse ways of crocheting (still learning about them) exist, concerning the size, texture and feeling of the final result!
Cotton, acrylic, silk, wire, paper and much more take their turn and transform a simple idea to an original creation.
