I discovered lately this amazing textile installation from The Functionality, a group of architects and designers based in New York. They are interested in buildings, spaces, and objects through the use of exquisite materials and contemporary technology.
For their installation Feel it, Take it, they designed a synthesis of 140 scarves, formed in the shape of a textile chandelier, hanging from above! The form of this wool chandelier is so intense and dark that caught my eye right away, but also one of the most interesting things about it is that after the exhibition-party was over, all the visitors left with one of the 140 scarves on their shoulders and in to the city, beautiful!!
