Today’s Visual Diary is about Pia Wüstenberg’s Studio (a design studio founded by Pia Wüstenberg, based between East London and North Germany) and her amazing brand Utopia & Utility . The philosophy of this brand is to “combine traditional materials in innovative ways that change conventional perceptions”.
Their work focuses on craft manufacturing, trying to include fantasy and functionality in unique handmade objects. I only included collections that combine yarn and threads in their design, such as Spool tables and lamps and objects made entirely out of yarn, but you should definitely explore their original work in general!
