Today, i want to share some of my latest creations, where i experimented with two of my favourite materials in three different ways: silk recycled yarn and strong paper yarn. Silk and paper yarn necklace behind the scenes, enjoy!
I started with a bib necklace with burgundy silk yarn working as the main motif and grey blue paper yarn as a fun connection with multiple crochet chains, which added this amusing effect of swirling, in contrast with the “heavy” appearance of the silk motif.
Then i tried the grey blue paper yarn as the main story of my necklace with multiple chain crochet strands creating a long piece of jewellery, which i decided to flourish with some silk burgundy details!
The last attempt is a little bit more balanced between the two materials, with vivid red and yellow tones! Love the colour combination on all of them and i think they turned out to be pretty cool! Interested on more of that?
